How to make the tropical drink the Caribbean Sunset with complete Recipe.

Coconut, melon and citrus are the main flavors of this drink. 

The Caribbean Sunset is a tropical cocktail made with coconut rum, melon liqueur, cranberry juice, and orange juice. A Caribbean Sunset is similar to the famous Tequila Sunset, in that they both have the orange juice floated on top, in this case atop the cranberry juice.

This is a nice tropical cocktail drink to cool off to on a hot summer day.

A great drink for a tiki party or luau.

Caribbean Sunset Recipe and Ingredients • 3/4 oz Malibu rum (coconut rum) • 3/4 oz Melon liqueur (Midori) • 2 oz Cranberry juice • Orange juice to top Caribbean Sunset Procedure Mix the rum and the melon liqueur and then slowly pour the cranberry juice on top until it is about half fill in the glass. The Hurricane Cocktail A ORIGINAL NEW ORLEANS DRINK RECIPE

Here´s two recipes for the classic tropical cocktail the Hurricane, one is the basic one and the other the common recipe today. The Hurricane cocktail is still being served at Pat O`Briens in New Orleans where the drink originated.

Hurricane Cocktail Drink

Basic Hurricane recipe:

• 1.5 oz light rum (Cruzan, Barcardi, etc.)
• 1.5 oz dark rum (Trader Vic's, Myers rum)
• 1 oz passionfruit juice or syrup (Trader Vic's)
• ¾ oz fresh lime juice

Shake in a cocktail shaker with ice until frosty and then strain into a Hurricane glass filled with ice.

Common Hurricane recipe:

• 1.5 oz light rum
• 1.5 oz dark rum
• 1 oz fresh orange juice
• 1 oz fresh lime juice
• 1/4 cup passion fruit juice, or 1 tablespoon passion fruit syrup
• 1 oz simple syrup (sugar water)
• 1 teaspoon grenadine
Stemmed cherries, and orange slice as a garnish
Ice cubes or crushed ice.

Hurricane Cocktail Mixing Instructions:
Half fill a Hurricane glass with crushed ice. Shake all ingredients and strain into the glass. Add more ice if needed and garnish with an orange slice and stemmed cherry.

This is a classic tropical cocktail that has been around for awhile.

A Day at the Beach recipe:

• 1 oz coconut rum (Malibu, Parrot Bay, Cruzan, etc.)
• 1/2 oz amaretto or almond liqueur
• 4 oz fresh orange juice
• 1/2 oz grenadine syrup

Procedure:

Shake rum, amaretto, and orange juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Strain into a highball glass with ice. Add grenadine and then garnish with pineapple wedge and a strawberry or cherry.

Blend all ingredients in a cocktail blender, and blend on high speed for 30 seconds, until smooth.

BANANA COW (Two)
Ingredients

• 1 ounce light rum

• 2 ounces creme de bananes

• 1 1/2 ounce white cream

• 1/2 ounce grenadine

• 1 slice of banana (for garnish)

• Dash of nutmeg spice.

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Blend all ingredients until creamy.

•  2 oz Pineapple Juice

•  2 oz Fresh Strawberries

•  2 oz Coconut Cream

•  1 Fresh Banana

1.   Place strawberries and two rums into a blender and blend until creamy.

2.  Pour into a hurricane glass.

3.  Place Fruit and juice into blender, blend until creamy.

4.  Pour this into the hurricane glass SLOWLY.

5.  The red rum mix will creeps up the sides!

•  1.5 oz White Rum (Bacardi, Cruzan, etc.)

•  1/2 Fresh Lime Juice

•  10 Fresh Spearmint Leaves

•  4 tsp of White Sugar

•  Sparkling Cube Soda

Mixing directions:

Muddle or just slightly bruise the  mint and lime in a glass.

Add the rum and the sugar and then stir for a few seconds.

Add ice to the glass.

Fill with the club soda and then stir again.

• 1 Part Vodka

• 1 Part Creme De Menthe

• 2 Parts Fresh Lemon Juice

• 1 Tsp. Simple Sugar Syrup.

• 10 Ice cubes

Long Island Iced Tea Ingredients: TWO

• 1 Part Gin

• 1 part White Rum

• 1 Part Vodka

• 1 Part Triple Sec

• 2 Parts Sour Mix

• 2 Parts Cola.

• 10 Ice cubes

Place in cocktail shaker, and

serve over ice in a highball glass.

Garnish with lime or lemon and a straw.

Bahama Mama Recipe:
Ingredients

•  1/2 ounce dark rum (bacardi, captian morgan, cruzan, mount grey, myers's)
•  1/2 ounce high proof 151 rum (bacardi 151)
•  1/2 ounce coconut liqueur (malibu, parrot bay, cruzan, etc.)
•  1/2 ounce coffee liqueur (tia maria, kahlua, trader vic's kona, etc.)
•  4 ounces pineapple juice
•  1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

Mixing Instructions:
Mix everything with ice, garnish with strawberry or a cherry
