Tropical cocktails: Learn how to make the JUNGLE BIRD cocktail.

This drink was made popular at the famous Aviary Bar of the Kuala Lumpur Hilton, Malaysia, in 1978.
It is becoming more popular today in jungle resorts and tiki bars worldwide.

JUNGLE BIRD RECIPE:
Ingredients
3/4 oz Campari
.5 oz fresh lime juice
.5 oz simple syrup
4 oz fresh unsweetened pineapple juice
1.5 oz dark Jamaican rum

NOTE: Campari is a infusion of herbs and select fruit in alcohol and water.  It is a bitters that has a distinctive dark red color.

Drink Mixing Instructions:
Shake well with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
Pour the mix into a double old fashioned glass or even better a classic tiki mug.
The traditional way to garnish is with a orchid flower, a maraschino cherry speared to lemon and orange wheels.
